What is MarketingCloud
The Office of Technology Services deployed Salesforce Marketing Cloud in 2018 as the new system for Marketing and Communications to send mass emails to the Illinois Tech community. MarketingCloud is feature-rich, with social media hooks, text and voice broadcasting, emergency messaging, listserv, forums, and batch integration capabilities. The use of this tool across campus is currently being investigated. OTS is currently reviewing mass e-mail platforms for departments to communicate with students until this service is available for the university.
Who Manages MarketingCloud
The Office of Technology Services supports the maintenance of the HawkWorks system along with Marketing and
Communications.
