The Office of Technology Services supports the presentation technology in over 75 classrooms on IIT’s Mies Campus and provides design and programming for the classrooms on all other campuses. A set of university standards determines the equipment installed in each classroom. Those standards may be found here. Detailed presentation system instructions are provided on the desk/podium. Copies are available below.
The preferred method for connecting an instructor provided device in all classrooms is via wireless connectivity provided by Crestron AirMedia. The AirMedia Windows app is available here. The AirMedia Mac OSX app is available here. Alternatively, there is a male HDMI cable and a male VGA cable available. Adapters for other types of connections are the responsibility of the instructor. View available presentation technology by individual classroom, here.
Contact the OTS Support Desk for assistance with any classroom technology.
