What is PeopleAdmin

PeopleAdmin is a provider of online human resource service modules for higher education. It is a collaborative partner with Ellucian’s Banner product. PeopleAdmin offers Illinois Tech a comprehensive platform to manage various systems related to PeopleAdmin:

  • Applicant Tracking System: used to collect and review employment application materials online while providing feedback to applicants regarding the status of their job search.
  • Employee Record System: a system that offers a complete, interoperable solution that enables onboarding, offboarding, records, contract management, and ad-hoc employee workflows as a part of the initial and ongoing employee management lifecycle.
  • Position Management System: a system that enables hiring managers to maintain current and accurate staff job descriptions online which facilitates such things as job postings and making recommendations for hire.

Who Manages PeopleAdmin

The PeopleAdmin software is supported and maintained by the Office of Technology Services along with the Banner Human Resources team for configuration. The software is also supported by the vendor PeopleAdmin.

How to Access PeopleAdmin

Faculty and Staff can access PeopleAdmin through the MyIIT portal from the menu option in the top right corner:

Appropriate Functional Use

The PeopleAdmin software is used for assisting with the recruiting and hiring of university employees, Position Management for employee evaluations and job descriptions.
